The school uniform brand「O.C.S.D.」(full title: OSARECOMPANY SCHOOL DESIGN) established through collaboration between OSARECOMPANY Inc. (Chiyoda-ku Tokyo, CEO Kazuki Uchimura, referred to as “OSARECOMPANY” below) and Akashi School Uniform Company Ltd. (Kurashiki-shi Okayama, CEO Hidefumi Kawai, referred to as “AKASHI S.U.C.” below), has announced the summer uniform for 2018. OSARECOMPANY aims for revitalization of the education industry through its school uniform business and actively participates in youth training and community support activities.
NGT48 Anju Sato has been chosen as the main visual for the summer uniform of O.C.S.D.!!
O.C.S.D. has casted NGT48 Anju Sato for the 2018 summer uniform main visual who has the free-willed image perfect for the summer time. The「O.C.S.D. 2018 summer uniform image visual」will be released on May 31 on the O.C.S.D. brand official website.
Ms. Sato, who modeled the collection has talked about her thoughts about the new 2018 summer uniform through her eyes as an actual high school student as well as some memories from her school-days.

「Sailor uniforms are a girl’s dream‼︎」
-Please give us your thoughts on the 3 uniforms you will be wearing. Let’s start with the blouse with the ribbon accent. How did you feel wearing it?
Anju Sato（”Ms. Sato” below）「Uniform blouses often have a hard touch. However, this is very soft and comfortable!! Also, very easy to move around in. It makes me want to run around campus (haha)」
-This material soaks sweat fast and dries easily so sweat doesn’t stand out.
Ms. Sato「That really gets the gist of what girls are worried about! I move around more than I need to so that’s great news for me!! (haha) Also, the belt for the skirt is so cute! Is that also under your calculation?」
-That’s to keep the look pretty even with the shirt tucked in and also the belt catches people’s eyes so your legs look longer even with a long skirt.
Ms. Sato「I see‼︎ The skirt’s design is also very fashionable; I like it! Also, girls are very picky about the skirt’s length, but with this design, it’s unnecessary to change the skirt length.」
-How is the summer-like polo shirt and check patterned skirt?
Ms. Sato「Some girls don’t prefer the girly look, so I think this mannish design with the side belt and the colors are perfect. Girls who don’t do girly styles would love this design.」
-As for its features, this has a mesh material underneath, so it has a cooling feel to it. How does it feel?
Ms. Sato「Wow, sporty！That’s right！Cool, looks like I can do some exercise (haha). This is a great feature and I feel like it would be popular!!」
-Next is the sailor uniform…
Ms. Sato「I want to go to this school‼︎（haha）」
-I thought boys and girls nowadays prefer blazers with a city look…
Ms. Sato「Sailor uniforms are a girl’s dream‼︎ This design makes you look better in shape and makes your legs look longer. I’ve never worn a summer sailor uniform but this looks easy to move around in!」
-As for its features, it’s extremely light but not see-through. Also, it has a deodorant effect with its air catalyst effect.
Ms. Sato「What, that’s great‼︎ I was a bit concerned about it being see-through!! Summer sailor uniforms are great〜」
-Lastly, I think we will be getting into seasonal changes in clothing, but please gives us a few words about what you look forward to in wearing summer clothes.
Ms. Sato「Summer clothes change your image a lot, so I enjoy winter clothes during the transition period and wear summer clothes after the transition period. I want to enjoy the change through my moods and the reaction of my friends. Also, I really feel summertime when I feel the wind on my bare arms on a sunny day!!」

The「O.C.S.D.」new summer uniforms for 4 schools with improved features and detailed designs are now released!!
「O.C.S.D.」is an abbreviation for OSARECOMPANY SCHOOL DESIGN, established in 2016, where OSARECOMPANY, which handles costume production, styling, and hair&makeup of the AKB48 Group collaborates with AKASHI S.U.C., which is a major school uniform company entering its 153rd year in 2018.
OSARECOMPANY’s strength in costume design and producing through the AKB48 Group and AKASHI S.U.C.’s strong achievements, high quality, and support system through handling uniforms of elementary, junior, and senior high schools nationwide work together to create original uniforms that students will want to wear and respond to the school’s hopes.
・Nagasaki Prefectural Matsuura High School（Nagasaki Prefecture）
【Designer Comment】
The skirt incorporates the city’s symbol color of「Matsuura Blue」and the slacks are a darker shade of that color. The cool blouse shirt has a gray accent to it. The changes in collar and the M embroidery is a design that changed the winter design to a new summer look.
・Kurume Shin-ai Gakuin Kurume Shin-ai Middle and High School（Fukuoka Prefecture）

The classy and cute white line of the skirt is an accent just like the winter design. The blouse has a simple design to bring out the skirt. The boys’ uniforms include a gray mini checkered pattern with a refreshing shirt.
・Okayama Prefectural Soja Senior High School（Okayama Prefecture）
【Designer Comment】
At the Soja Senior High School, there are 2 types of uniforms. In the formal style, the white freshness is the theme with the contrast between white and navy as an accent. The girls’ sailor uniform has a large tie to give increased classiness.
In the optional style, the navy polo shirt has a sky-blue accent to it. There is a wisteria flower design embroidered on the front chest area. The girls have a checkered pattern in blue which also matches with the look. This is a school uniform which has both a cool and cute look to it. The boys’ uniform includes a subtle stripe design.
・Osaka Jikei Gakuen Senior High School Mimasaka Campus（Okayama Prefecture）
【Designer Comment】
This is a summer-like design with the same patterned bottom as the winter uniform paired with a pullover. The material used is a high-feature knit shirt with airiness and sweat-absorbent quick-drying finish. Hot summer days will be spent comfortably. The chest pocket has the same blue color as the jacket and is a cute accent.
