Osarecompany supervised the curriculum of and gave lectures on the 3 courses of「costume」「makeup」and「hair」of concerts at the「Stage Staff Trial Course for Junior and Senior High School Students」presented by Chiba Prefectural Cultural Promotion Foundation
After the 32 students learned about costume, hair and makeup through a total of 6 workshops, they were able to actually experience being a staff member at the「Minna de Tsukuru・Idol Live (Idol Live Made By Everyone)」held on August 6th (Sun.) at the Chiba City Culture Center.

■Course Overview(1st~6th Class)
「Costume」Course

For the「Costume」Course, students drew up original designs based on a white T-shirt→practiced remake work→created a full body styling→and took portfolio pictures.
Original one-of-a-kind T-shirts were made by adding ornaments and arrangements with advice from the instructors.
A portfolio photo shoot was done with the help of professional models and photographers after completing the full body styling that would match the T-shirt.
The students were able to gain on-site photo shoot experience by learning from experienced stylist instructors.

「Makeup」Course

In the「Makeup」Course, students learned from the basics of makeup in a hands-on manner by forming pairs and practicing on each other.
After learning about makeup removal, adding moisture from lotion/emulsion, and how to apply makeup base, foundation, concealer, and highlights, students learned about how to do the eyebrows, eyes, cheeks, and lips.
Students who had little to no makeup experience had improved as much to comment that they “want to try their new skills on their friends”.

「Hair」Course

In the「Hair」Course, similar to the makeup course, the students formed pairs and practiced techniques and hair arrangements on each other.
The students challenged themselves to various hair arrangements from straight to curly by learning how to use hair irons and braiding techniques from the instructors.
There were some students who have decided to become hair and makeup artists through this experience of learning hands-on from instructors who are involved in various TV programs and concerts.

■Day of the Event. Bentos eaten by many celebrities served for lunch!
On August 6th, the day of「Minna de Tsukuru・Idol Live (Idol Live Made By Everyone)」, the students, all wearing the same staff T-shirts, split up into the courses that they took and experienced being a stage staff.

In the「Hair」course, the students watched the instructor arrange the artist’s hair style, and upon the artist’s generosity, they were able to assist in the hair arrangement.
The students were able to show their skills learned including setting the bangs and making braids.

For the lunch break, bentos from a popular bento store with many fans from the show biz industry were served!
The students experienced the taste of bentos that always rank high in bento rankings.

After the event was over, all 3 courses gathered into one to reflect on the experience.

Some comments from the students are as follows.
「It was great because we were able to have the rare opportunity of learning directly from professionals」
「I was happy to see what I created come in to shape by professional models and photographers」
「I learned the importance of greetings and being considerate and attentive backstage」
